Cancer prevention and healing

I found this guy on-line a few weeks ago and I have to share his information to anyone who will listen. I STRONGLY believe God gave us all we need to heal and prevent most Western diseases by nutrition and our lifestyle. Please watch these videos this week-end!! You only have until midnight Sunday and then you will have to pay for it. My grandmother went to Mexico when I was a little girl to a clinic that helped people heal cancer. She had colon cancer and was told she would die soon with no treatment. She followed the plan at the clinic and lived another 9 years. NUTRITION CAN HEAL YOU!! Ultimately, I believe Jesus Christ is our healer but He gives us the knowledge to help ourselves. Here is the link: https://squareone.chrisbeatcancer.com/encore-weekend

A Letter to My Children

As I watch you grow every single day my heart is so very full of love for you. I love the scripture in Ephesians 3 that gives us a picture of Christ’s love for us- and I will borrow it now as I say to you–may you both be able to comprehend, to always feel and truly understand how long, how wide, how deep, and high my love for you is-from the very beginning through each pregnancy the love began and built moment by moment and day by day. I wish I could just infuse the wisdom I have gained in my 41 years so you don’t make the same mistakes I have made. I know though, that through those mistakes, I have become your mother. Mistakes and failures are a part of life we all face. But know that each time a trial or difficulty arises I will be there with encouragement, support, and love. Life is becoming increasingly difficult in this world but I know that because each of you has accepted Christ as your Savior you are safe in His care. He will guide you if you let Him. My greatest prayer for each of you is that you let Him. Only the path He has chosen for you will give you ultimate joy and peace that this world and its things will never offer you. If you need advice, guidance for decisions, or comfort His Word is there for you. It, I pray, will be the handbook of your lives-utilize it- I beg of you both. In it, I assure you, you will find the key to your happiness, wealth, and most importantly the love of the Father who created you. I know that the moment He thought you into existence He smiled knowing the joy you each would bring. I know He specially knit you individually together in my womb-some from daddy, some from mommy, some from Him- your body, soul, and spirit came together in His sight, timing, and masterful way, according to His plan for your life. As you grow even now I can see how He is molding you both into the vessels He wants you to be. How He anticipates you pouring Him out on those around you. As this life partakes of you He will continue to fill you up so you can freely give and extend His love to those who need it. I pray He places you both in situations where the fullness of Christ within you spills out on every person, in every situation He places you in. Light is a brilliant thing- it shines the brightest in the darkest of times, the darkest of places. It has a way of creeping into every nook and cranny of space it can reach. You have both been an encompassing, incandescent light in my life. The light you have brought me warms my soul and infuses me with such joy and love. Christ is the source of our light. He shines so brightly on us, through us, for us. The warmth of His embrace will always be much greater than the warmth of my embrace. But He has given you me-your physical mother here on earth to be His embrace for you to feel until you return to Him. May I always glorify Him in loving you the way He has shown me so graciously.

With all my love forever and always,
Your momma

Spiritual Warfare

Since the beginning of the new year I have heard multiple messages on spiritual warfare.  My pastor is preparing a study right now on this subject.  I do not think any of us like to think about the spiritual world and the power that Satan holds.  I think this is a subject that needs to be understood fully and years ago was given more attention.

Our forefathers knew very well to prepare each day accordingly.  I spoke in a recent post about our armor.  Let me express to you how very important it is that you take it up daily and sometimes more than once a day as Satan’s attacks unfold on you.  We do not war against flesh and blood we war against Satan and his army.  Do not mistake that we as Christians are warriors-soldiers of His kingdom and we need to be dressed for battle.  Dr. David Jeremiah has begun a new series on his web sight–let me say the first message was FANTASTIC and I urge to watch this series along with me and learn what exactly spiritual warfare is and how we protect ourselves from it.  Here is the link: http://www.davidjeremiah.org/site/spiritualwarfare/home.aspx?skip_intro=true

The Lord’s Prayer Matt. 6:9

This past Sunday night our pastor challenged us to rewrite the Lord’s Prayer in our own words.  I took the challenge and this is what I came up with-I pray it blesses you and let me challenge you to do the same:

My merciful and gracious Father in heaven-thank you for walking daily, moment by moment, with me through this life

Holy and blessed is Your name-allow me to comprehend the awesome power Your name alone holds each time I call upon it

Your kingdom come, Your will be done in my life today and everyday according to the purpose and plan You have called me to in heaven and on earth

Give me and my family today our daily portion-not too much lest we be full and deny You, not too little lest we be poor and needy

Forgive me my sins and help me be forgiving of those that sin against me knowing that we are all made in Your likeness and that we all fall short of Your glory

Lead me not into temptation, keep my path straight and help me choose the narrow way

Deliver me from Satan and his army, make me keenly aware of his schemes as I dress for battle in Your armor each day

For Yours is the kingdom, the power to overcome, and the glory forever

Amen

New Beginnings

As the new year begins I want to be faithful to be an encourager.  I read Charles Stanley devotionals each day along with his Daily Principles Bible.  I encourage you to check out his web-sight InTouch.org for all of his materials, but with not a penny spent you can access daily devotionals and all of his recent sermons.  There are a host of other writings on the sight that I am sure will bless you.  I know you will be encouraged and learn a great deal on your journey with Christ as I have.  Here is the link: http://intouch.org/

January is a good time of year to evaluate our lives and try to incorporate new habits.  It signifies the beginning of a new year and what could be a new way of thinking and living for each of us.  The Bible says that we all fall short of the glory of God and believe me I can relate.  I quite often feel this verse was included for me.  Boy, do I fall short.  But you know what-I have learned and am still practicing to moment by moment dust myself off and continue on.  We should not be under a spirit of condemnation but one of redemption.  He wants to redeem us not condemn us.  Stop allowing Satan to cause doubt in your mind about your loving Father.  He sits on His throne rejoicing over us being quiet in His love for us.  Satan loves to conquer us through our thoughts.  It honestly I believe is his favorite battleground with each of us.  Because thought precedes action every time.  Take those thoughts captive friends and do not let them get away with you.  Store the precious Word of God in your heart because it is truly your sword of the Spirit.  Did you put on your armor today?  The helmet of salvation to protect your mind-the breastplate of righteousness to protect your heart and emotions-the belt of truth that your Father is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, and sovereign over every detail of your life including the ones you love-the sandals of peace, beloved be a peacemaker and practice leaving tracks of peace everywhere you go today -carry your shield of faith to thwart the flaming arrows that are coming the moment you arise-and finally your sword-the precious Word of God.  His Word is meant to guide, comfort and teach us, so preach it into your life every day by reciting it in those moments of weakness.

God has called each of us with a special purpose in mind, only we as individuals can fulfill that purpose. Do not miss His best because your obedience will be the only thing that will bring you an abiding peace and joy that this world and its things will never give you.  My friend the Christian walk is trial laden for us all-but it is through those trials you will see Jesus more intimately.  So let us welcome those trials and confuse Satan, rebuke Satan and enter into a journey like no other.  He will be the lamp unto our feet and a light for our path and our cups will surely runneth over, we shall not be in want.

Blessings, April

The Weight of My Words

Words are our means of communication. I love the saying God gave us one mouth and two ears so we should listen more than talk. For most women that is challenging–after all we are the great communicators-right? Have you ever stopped and thought about how our words can be smooth stones that take a nine foot giant out (1 Sam. 17) or how they can be a beautifully wrapped gift that gives someone such great encouragment. I have sinned more with my words than anything else. In the book of James it talks about bridling our tongues. Do you have a bridle? I often need it. I just can’t stop myself from expressing my opinion which I feel must be shared. God has recently put it on my heart to be very aware of what I am watching, hearing, and saying. We are to guard our minds in Christ Jesus. In our society today that seems nearly impossible, huh? But we need not forget we are in-dwelt with the Holy Spirit who makes it all possible. It really is about self-control. Listening and being aware of those promptings we ignore especially when emotions are running high. We need to Pause-Pray and then Place words. Sometimes just a momentary pause is all we need to stop ourselves from saying something that a loved one will never forget. We all have had some harsh, unkind words hurled at us that we have never forgotten. Heavy, ugly, and unforgetful words. They are not always from those we love maybe it was a stranger or mere acquaintance. Why can’t we forget how they made us feel? Our words can be sharper than any sword or more powerful than any bullet. I need God to redefine my thoughts so my words will align and be gentle and building up. I do not want to tear down anymore, rather start building beautiful memories into those around me. Not with false flattery but life sustaining words that will encourage and bless. Life is such a journey each one unique and special. I choose to start building life sustaining words into my life and the lives of those around me. God will help me and you because the Bible assures us that if we ask anything in His name according to His will we can claim it. ( 1 John 5:14-15) So come with me on this new journey and change the course of your life and the lives of the generations that may follow us. Build encouraging words into the the fabric of your family that will have lasting effects. I will include several scriptures from my scripture journal that involve our mouths or tongues. The Bible has quite a lot to say about it. Let’s try a simple exercise of: Pause-Pray-Place

Pause–Quick words, all too often, are biting words
Pray–Quote scripture regarding our mouths (memorize a few below)
Place–Quietly place those words into the lives around you

Maybe if we can remember this little 3 word phrase it will start a chain reaction and change our worlds for God’s glory.

Psalm 19:14–May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Psalm 141:3–Set a guard over my mouth, O Lord; Keep watch over the door of my lips.

Proverbs 12:18–Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

Ecc. 5:2-3, 7–Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few. As a dream comes when there are many cares so the speech of a fool when there are many words. Much dreaming and many words are meaningless. Therefore stand in awe of God.

Luke 6:45–The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.

Ephesians 4:29–Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

Phil. 2:14-15–Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God, without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe.

Col. 3:17–And whatever you do whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of The Lord Jesus Christ giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Col 4:6–Let your conversations be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

2 Tim. 2:16–Avoid Godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more unGodly.

2 Tim. 2:23-24–Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not quarrel; instead he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.

Titus 3:2–…to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men.

James 1:19-20–My dear brothers take note of this: everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that god desires.

James 1:26–If anyone among you thinks he is religious , and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religious is useless.

James 3:2,5-6,8-10–2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles. 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. 8 But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9 With the tongue we praise The Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God’s likeness. 10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, theses things ought not be so.

1 Peter 3:4–….Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.

1Peter 3:9-11–Do not repay evil for evil or insult with insult but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit blessing. For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech.” He must turn from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it.

Everyday brings challenges but if we start small by maybe remembering once or twice throughout the day eventually it will become a habit. I am asking my eleven year old daughter to help me and challenging her as well. Her three year old brother often tempts her to say things she shouldn’t 😉

Blessings Always, April
